Method and attention of field calibration of electromagnetic flowmeter

Due to the influence of environment, fluid characteristics and other factors, the electromagnetic flowmeter needs to be calibrated on site. Let's introduce the method of on-site calibration.

1. Select the corresponding water pump according to the diameter and flow of the pipeline for verification test;

2. If the system adopts compressed air power, start the air compressor to reach the air source pressure required by the system, so as to ensure the rapid switching of commutator and the normal operation of meter clamp;

3. After the flowmeter is correctly installed and connected, it shall be powered on and preheated for about 30min according to the requirements of the verification regulation;

4. If the high-level tank water source is used, check whether the overflow signal of the stabilized pressure water tower appears. Before the formal test, the verification medium shall be circulated in the pipeline system for corresponding time according to the requirements of the verification regulation, and the sealing parts in the pipeline shall be checked for leakage at the same time;

5. Before the formal verification, the verification medium shall be filled with the tested flowmeter sensor, and then the downstream valve shall be shut off for zero adjustment;

6. When starting the verification, first open the valve at the front of the pipeline and slowly open the valve behind the verified flowmeter to adjust the flow at the verification point.
