1. After receiving the flowmeter, check its integrity. Usually, for transportation safety, a top liner will be placed. Take out the top lining, check whether the cone pipe is damaged and whether the float can move freely, and then install it after everything is normal.

2. Before installation, please check the technical parameters of the flowmeter to see if the flow range, working pressure, temperature and other parameters meet the needs of the work site.

3. Vertical installation can reduce numerical error.

4. Maintain the stability of the installation environment of the glass rotor flowmeter, and do not squeeze foreign objects into the flowmeter.

5. Ensure that the surrounding environment is clean and tidy, and the installed pipes must be cleaned.

6. Handle with care and do not use violence.

7. In order to prevent the flowmeter from being blocked by large particles in the flowmeter, it is necessary to prevent the flowmeter from being blocked by large particles.

8. The fluid pressure measured by the flowmeter must be stable. If the fluid is unstable and has a pulsating flow, it cannot be measured correctly. A buffer can be installed to eliminate pulsating flow.

9. When conical tubes and floats are found to be contaminated, they should be cleaned in time. If leakage occurs, the sealing ring should be replaced in time.

10. Special attention should be paid to the fact that not all glass rotameters are corrosion-resistant. Therefore, it is necessary to select a suitable flow meter for measurement, and do not use ordinary flow meters to measure corrosive fluids.
