If You Want The Glass Rotor Flowmeter To Have A Good Effect, You Need To Pay Attention To It From The Beginning Of The Installation

The glass rotameter is an accurate flow measuring instrument, which plays an extremely important role in industrial production. In order to make it perform well in the subsequent work, we need to meet certain requirements during installation. So what are the requirements?
1. The first thing to do is to remove the inner lining of the glass rotor flowmeter before installation to protect it from damage during transportation. Check whether the cone tube is damaged and whether the float can move up and down freely, and install it after confirming that it is normal.
2. Before use and installation, please check whether the measurement range, accuracy grade, rated working pressure, temperature and other technical parameters meet the requirements of use.
3. The newly installed pipes should be cleaned.
4. The small scale value of the rotameter should be at the bottom and be installed vertically on the pipe without vibration. The angle between the center line of the rotameter and the plumb line should not exceed 5 degrees. Because the weight of the large-caliber flowmeter is very heavy, reinforcement and support measures can be taken when necessary to avoid pipe bending.
5. During the installation process, it is necessary to prevent the flowmeter from being damaged by external forces (such as compression and torsion).
6. If necessary, according to different working conditions in use, a filter should be installed upstream of the flowmeter and the rotameter should be blocked to prevent contamination by impurities.
7. If the fluid is unstable and has a pulsating flow, a buffer can be installed to eliminate the pulsating flow to ensure good measurement by the flowmeter.
8. When using a glass rotor flowmeter, first slowly unscrew the control valve on the upstream pipe of the flowmeter, and then use the regulating valve to adjust the flow, so as not to cause the float to rise rapidly. Suddenly open and damage the cone tube.
9. In order to obtain accurate measurement accuracy, it is recommended that the common flow rate of the fluid to be measured should be greater than 60% of the sub-flow rate of the rotameter.
